...that was Pow Wow Berlin Brandenburg 2010

This year, the popular touristic event “Pow Wow Berlin Brandenburg 2010” was hosted by Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH (BTM) and Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH (TMB) for the first time.

Approximately 300 trade visitors of leisure & business travel as well as the small MICE segment visited Germany’s capital region to Pow Wow’s 10th anniversary.

The participants could convince themselves of a varied touristic spectrum and the cultural variety of Berlin and Brandenburg.

A successful combination of trade fair, new attractive sightseeing tours and different evening events made Pow Wow’s 10th edition to an informative and efficient communication forum.
At “Rotes Rathaus” (Red Town Hall), the trade visitors and exhibitors were welcomed to Pow Wow Berlin Brandenburg 2010 by Mr Kieker (CEO of Berlin Tourism Marketing GmbH).
The impressive atmosphere at Berlin Town Hall offered the trade visitors and exhibitors the first opportunity to establish contacts.

On Saturday, the exhibition took place at STATION-Berlin, which used to be a freight depot. At this special location, where usually the fashion exhibition “Premium” takes place, about 100 regional exhibitors presented their current portfolio.
Additional to the workshop, the trade visitors had the possibility to choose between different theme and site inspection tours.

In the evening, Mr Hütte (CEO of TMB Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH) welcomed the guests at “Biosphäre Potsdam”. In an exotic atmosphere and a world of tropical natural wonders, trade visitors and exhibitors had the possibility to intensify their morning meetings.

After their stay in Berlin, the trade visitors could take part in different post tours to Potsdam and Brandenburg. Apart from the visit of the palaces Sanssouci and Cecilienhof, we offered an additional tour to Spreewald.
